The Archives
For many years Sligo Folk Park has collected old books relating to the history of Riverstown, County Sligo and the region, and has to date one of the most comprehensive archival collection in the North West area.
Historic Newspapers
Sligo Folk Park has also an extensive collection of historic local newspapers, namely Sligo Independent, Sligo Champion, Sligo Weekender, Roscommon Herald and others. For visitors wishing to view our Newspaper Collection, please make an appointment with our Reception Staff or contact us by e-mail.
