Sligo Folk Park is a 30-year-old social enterprise which celebrates Irish heritage and rural life from the late 19th century and on Friday November 22nd will host the National Social Enterprise Forum & Expo from 10am to 3.30pm.

The forum and expo will provide an opportunity for different Social Enterprises located in Ireland to meet and discuss the Social Enterprise sector in Ireland. It is a National event organised by Sligo LEADER Partnership in collaboration with ILDN and aims to connect those with an involvement or interest in Social Enterprise. Attendees will have the chance to network and build connections with agencies and experts. Discover how social enterprises can help to make a difference to your community and resolve local issues.

Throughout the day engaging speakers will provide their insight and advice and 4 breakout groups will focus on Pre-Development, Community Shops and Cafes, Social Care and Environment.
