COVID19 Policy
COVID SAFETY INFORMATION
When you arrive at Sligo Folk Park reception, you will be asked to complete our contact tracing form, using the sanitised pens provided. Groups from more than one family, which are bigger than the Irish government’s current recommended numbers, will be asked to split into smaller groups, to do a self-guided tour of the Folk Park, and we will ensure that current government guidelines on numbers allowed both indoors and outdoors are followed at all times.
When you are on site, we will also remind you to let one group finish in the smaller exhibits before entering, on your self-guided tour around the various buildings.
It is now compulsory for people over the age of 13 years to wear a face mask in Irish museums, and we will also be wearing one when we greet you in reception. Hand sanitiser is also supplied in all indoor museum spaces and children’s play toys and other equipment are sanitised after each family’s individual use. With these measures, together with our regular cleaning schedules, you can be assured that we are taking all measures, to keep you and your family as safe as possible during visit to the Folk Park.
